“Let’s wait.” Idia really doesn’t want to fall over. The crash from orgasm to worry hit him pretty hard, and even without the concern over Cater’s injury it took most of Idia’s energy to restrain himself for the “intimate tutoring.” He’s drained.
So he steals a gentle kiss and nuzzles into Cater’s hair. “Nap first, shower later. Sleep reinforces learning.”
Sighing, Cater contents himself with wrapping himself around Idia as much as he can, dotting soft kisses on his skin as they get comfortable. "Sounds good," he says, wishing there was more that he could do to shake Idia out of the mood that he'd fallen into. Quiet for a moment, Cater starts to drift off. His eyes closed, he's unsure if Idia will even hear the sentiment he murmurs:
"When you can't love yourself, I'll love you that much harder."
Of course he hears it. Cater is his everything, his sole focus in these times together. "Thank you, Cay," he whispers back, relief warming the words. For all that his brain tries to keep him buried in gloom, his boyfriend truly helps to bring him out of the darkness. "I really mean it, thank you. For being patient, for loving me, all of it."

He has to get better. Cater deserves better.
