[After they'd had their assembly concerning applying for their fourth year internships, Cater had found a convenient time to slip away. Sure, he could've just holed himself up in his dorm room like usual when he needed a break from People, but just the idea of walking through Heartslabyul was too much right now. Seeing the rest of the dorm up to their usual antics, and all the sights he'd grown so accustomed to over the last few years...no, he wanted to clear his head away from a place where anyone could knock on his door at any moment.
He doesn't intend to go too far, but walking down past the field and into the tree line that surrounds the campus. Maybe being alone with his thoughts also wasn't the wisest idea, but...who was he going to talk to, anyway, other than himself? No way was he opening up to Trey about how he was feeling. Of course, Cater was underestimating certain students perceptive (and tracking) abilities. Perhaps he wasn't nearly as alone as he thought he was.]
